Convert between currencies using the European Central Bank's daily euro reference rates.
A quick, no-frills currency converter. Enter an amount, pick two currencies, and it converts using official reference rates. The arrow swaps the two currencies.
Data. Rates are the European Central Bank's euro reference rates, served via the open-source Frankfurter API. The ECB publishes them once per working day, around 16:00 CET; on weekends and TARGET holidays the most recent values are shown. These are mid-market reference rates — the neutral midpoint of the market and a good benchmark. A bank, card or exchange will give you a slightly worse rate, and that gap is their margin, so treat this as the baseline to compare against rather than the exact amount you'll pay. A few currencies the ECB doesn't publish — currently the Sri Lankan rupee (LKR) — are filled in from a supplementary open-source rates source (Exchange API), so those specific figures aren't official ECB rates.
Privacy. Conversions happen entirely on your device, and the day's rates are cached locally so the tool keeps working offline. Nothing is stored on a server, and there are no accounts, tracking, or ads.
