Shows the rain expected at your location for the next two hours in short steps — the kind of short-term weather-radar nowcast behind apps like Buienradar and Buienalarm. Below it, a “later today” strip gives the hour-by-hour outlook for the rest of the day from Open-Meteo.
Data. Radar comes from Buienradar (free for non-commercial use; the nowcast covers the Netherlands and just over the border). Outside that area, or if the radar is briefly unavailable, it falls back to Open-Meteo, an open European weather service. The radar request is made by this site's own server; the Open-Meteo fallback and the place search are made by your browser directly to Open-Meteo. When you use your device location, the name of your area is looked up via Photon, an open European geocoder built on OpenStreetMap.
Privacy. Your location is never stored, and it's rounded to about a kilometre (two decimal places) before any forecast lookup. The radar request goes to this site's own server, which does that rounding before it queries Buienradar; the Open-Meteo fallback and the area-name lookup are rounded in your browser before they're sent.
